we're in the process of throwing around ideas for a pvp system. looks like we'll definitely be getting some PvP or competitive action sometime in the future.

I have an idea for PvP, it shouldn't be added.
In my eyes it's helping the suggestion because I don't want a PvP arena or anything.

Most players are used to pvp or want it. It would be good to have. Tho just for a certain area. Servers that are all pvp suck. It will be interesting to see what the brilliant minds of opticraft come up with.

From what we talked about (again, these were potential ideas, and in no way were these ideas confirmed) there would be a range of different PvP games like 20v20 games, capture the flag, king of the hill, destroy the enemy base etc.

I'm certain that if the PvP system was to be put in place, there will be several implementations to suit the server. Such as a dedicated chat to each game, an inventory restorer, exp restorer and what not to keep players happy.

We have all heard your cries, we know you want PvP. But please refrain from making topics nagging for PvP.

That is why I stikckied this deekay. I was tired of all the new topics. Also the quote I used was from cshurz in a different PvP topic. And please refrain from arguments. Just use this thread to express ideas to help the staff understand the type of PvP that people prefer.

Heh, good one.  I think Rorshack is my favorite "super hero" of all time, just due to the fact he sees the world for what it truly is.
