About posts, how do you even post a post?
You do realize that lava isn't a renewable source unlike water, so there are only a limited amount of lava source blocks as there are coal.Lava would be nice to smelt huge bundles of resources for large projects, but for something small or practical, coal and blaze rods are more effective.
the lava that falls down does not turn into source blocks. It may seem that way since it wont go away but it is a kind of bug. You can take try and pick it up all you want but you can't since it isn't source.

i suppose you're right, guess they changed it and i never noticed.of course that doesn't change the fact that the nether is full of lava..... i'd just fill up a double chest worth of buckets and use them at my leisure.would take about a year of everyone farming it to clear it all out
