Personally I think it could come in handy for a lot of things though after ranks mod+ its pretty pointless since they can just go through it regardless

I don't know why this keeps getting bought up, there's already a command for it.

/cmodify g:[group] - Adds a group to the protection.
/cmodify -g:[group] - Removes a group from the protection.

Groups:
default
member
voter
trusted
moderator
developer
operator
admin
owner
