Fixed :) im back on
« on: February 01, 2013, 11:54:18 pm »
Sorry guys, but i wont be online very much if at all for a unknown amout of time, and its my fault :/

Ok, now before you read this dont think: "OH SHIT KAG IS LEAVING!" because i am NOT (i repeat NOT) leaving. Today i downloaded the snapshot for 13w03a (which is actually after 1.5) and due to the fact that I am very tired today, i forgot to back up my minecraft.jar, so I have do way of downgrading back to 1.4.7 or watever it is.

My though on what i did there? just click-
(click to show/hide)

Hopefully 1.5 will be coming out soon, and then soon after the next one, because I already miss not being able to play on opticraft, and I hope to see you all soon. :)

Also, please do not try to send me a minecraft.jar file, as from what i know (which isnt very much), its illegal.

-Best regards to everyone:

When logging in do a force update, it will give you the current .jar they have released.

ok, now I get an error report before I can even get onto the menu screen, so I can't delete the worlds.
I went into the .minecraft/bin, and even after force update, there was no minecraft.jar in the folder

...... Kenneth :P
stalker?

Back up your worlds textures and screenies then delete .minecraft.

This should work I've done it before. Go to your .minecraft and drag any texture packs or world you want to keep into another folder. Then delete your entire .minecraft folder (if you want to be safe just drag it out of your bin into another folder) go to minecraft.net log in under the browser and it should create a new .minecraft folder for you.

Then just put all texture packs, saves, etc. back into their locations on the new .minecraft folder and it should be good to go

well, i got a luck break :)

my dad let me use his laptop for a few minutes so i could download minecraft on that machine (because my browser was derping), then i threw it on a flashdrive, and now the minecraft.jar for 1.4.7 is in my folder and i could go in and delete the test world. :)

this can be locked now, as i guess its solved?
