I'm sad to inform you all that as I was attempting to complete the game, everything crashed. With the crash, I have also lost all game progress (because there is no save function). I apologize for the inconvenience and any time that was wasted.

If you will all allow me, I'd like to try again but this time I'll record a video. If progress is once again lost, I can just upload the video for you all to watch.

It was all running so smoothly but I guess my computer is a piece of shit.

It didn't crash. The trip got abducted by aliens, who took them back to Independence (And miraculously cured the sick).

However, the great leader Claw, who so successfully directed his last trip (Well, he crossed 2 rivers, that counts, right?), decided to set out again, aliens or no. He is determined and ready to get to Oregon.

I'm pretty relaxed about not having a video, as long as you keep taking pictures and writing funny comments.

EDIT: Since I have the opportunity: The aliens also gave me a fancy top hat. It shall lead us to victory.

After the aliens had abducted our heroes, they were sent back to Independence to once again head for Oregon. Claw is once again our fearless leader/carpenter from Ohio. He decided it would be best for this family to leave in April. They have kept their previous shopping list choices and are ready to embark on their journey (again)!

Wanting to make up for lost time and divide the rations well enough, the glorious leader Claw decided it would be best to move at a strenuous pace 12 hours a day with little rest. He also decided the group should be fed on meager rations because "everyone's fat enough already".
