Why you callin' him a cheat? Do you not use an inventory editor? :P

lol... that is somewhat hilarious though.

On a similar note, I am building a huge minecart highway on beta. It is still under developement and will take a while... ESPECIALLY with the redstone wiring and stuff... :P

Um... no? I play the good way, although I do wish sometimes I had the patience to install an Inventory Editor ;)
Also, is that a beta singleplayer or mulitplayer? If its multiplayer, can i see? If its single player, could you take some screenies? Im hopeless at redstone :P I can do pressure pads with doors, and i forgot how to make buttons but thats about it ;) I think i could make a redstone torch as well...

 :P I can send you an inventory editor if you like, its in a .rar/.zip file and you dont need to install it. Its the same one Jul has here.

Why do u need redstone wiring for a minecart system? Use pressure rails.
S    S
S P S
S R S

S= stick
P= Stone pressure pad
R= Redstone

Do that in a crafting table and voila! It acts as a pressure pad but its also a rail.

Hmm... that could be useful for the project, as I might not have enough redstone wiring to complete it

1) Detector rails only supply power when something is over it, so it would only provide power for only a split second-- not enough for long distance powering...
2) The rail system I am building is a long distance rail line, so it will need A LOT of redstone wiring... not just the bare few connections...

Well they are good for power rails but i see what you mean. In fact having redstone wiring coming from 2 seperate detector rails (pressure rails lol i fail) might give you enough time for activating a switch or something.  :P Im confusing my self.
