New Art.

Well, today i have a interesting question for all of you. In todays world, what is considered good art? Plus, what is the kind of art that people want to get their hands on the most.
I ask this because, I want to know if any of you have close to the same opinion as me on this, or even the same opinion as me.

I say that people do not look for realistic paintings, or drawings, I think that they look for unique ideas that are portrayed onto the artwork, that no one else would have thought of, I say this because a person can go pick up a camera and take a picture of something, like a person, making a realistic portrait not as unique or prestigious for a art collector. I think people would look for things that are from your mind, not memory.

Well, there is more than one type of art. Drawings, plus music and many other thing you use to express yourself are considered art. Personally I like music. Concert band music, marching band music especially, choir music, stuff on the radio, I enjoy mostly everything, except rap and music with vulgar lyrics. That crap annoys me.

So very true! That's how it is with music as well.  Well, except for rap. All they're doing is talking fast about being a "gangsta" to a computerized simple 4/4 time beat, most of it being the same thing repeated over and over.

Art is everything and art is nothing, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some prefer abstraction, some prefer realism, and with some, imaginative realism. I personally believe that everything can be made to art, even a simple, picture, with an abstraction of colors. Believe what you will, but to me, everything can be beautiful, its just the way you look at it.

Fun Facts!
#1: Art that has portions of it going off the page is more appealing to the eye, it invites the viewer into the picture.

#2: Odd Numbers of things are more appealing to the eye. If you're creating a work, consider that if you are using a multitude of objects, a number of three is more appealing then a number of two or four. This is what is referred to as 'The Rule Of Three'.

well in my mind art is the creation and/or appreciation of something so a game like minecraft is a creation within a creation within a creation which creates a creation of a creation of a creation.
Inception's in there somewhere but yeah art is a creation.
