Pumpkin or Melon?
« on: April 30, 2012, 04:23:10 am »
I am currently using Pumpkin farms but I used to use melon farms before the price change. I am debating whether I should change back to melons or should I stay pumpkin. I could use some opinions on which type of farm you guys think is "best".
Thanks for Reading

Well me and some friends have a huge farm that goes from bedrock level to...very high and it rakes in money (melons)

Pumpkin is the best, I did the maths somewhere in these forums.

Found the maths, it was in a thread called Pumpkins or melons, started by some guy called potoes6

Deja Vu.

I have 420 melons that when broken onaverage give me 4 slices, then I need 9 slices per melon.

So 420 * 4 = 1680
1680 / 9 =  186.6
186.6 / 64 = 2.91
2.91 * 480 = $1396.8

I have 420 Pumpins, once broken remain whole.

So 420 / 64 = 6.5
6.5 * 320 = $2100

Kian is it a piston operated farm? If so sticky or none sticky?

Having a farm that big each time you press the button I bet the server sh**s a brown enderdragon each time with lag.

Although I would like something of the magnitude but being a lone wolf it would be completed as soon as the member+ world comes out, and at that moment a fury would overwhelm me to the point I jump into my clock and turn back time by kicking the dials so hard it breaks time creating timewarps.
Sometimes a little bit of pessimism goes further than a stream of optimism, it lets you see both sides of the coin and break the illusion of the reality that others built around you.
