Making a ticket in game is a good way to get an operator to fix it for you.
Yep, I'm aware of that and I have opened the ticket while I was at the computer (but I had to leave for RL issues). I brought this to the forum to 1) Serve as a warning to other players and 2) Let the developers know that there is still a lingering problem with PStones.

Well I discovered I have lost 5 lapis pstones, 4 diamond pstones, and many coal pstones when I logged in today.
It's been a while since I logged in but I noticed that several pstones were missing from my build. I issued "/ps locations" and it said "no fields found."
WTF?
I did not crouch when placing these stones, and they worked for a while but now they are gone. To add insult to injury, someone came by and mined a few of them, and grief the road leading to my underground storage shed.
I worked my ass off to buy the diamond pstones and it really bothers me that I have lost them AGAIN (third time this has happened in a year). I had a plan of building a really cool tower using diamond pstones to protect it but now I have lost all motivation to build, knowing that my carefully placed pstones can just turn into regular ores, only to be mined by griefers.
One of the things that I used to like about this server is the economical and straightforward way you can use pstones to protect your build. Unfortunately that is quickly becoming obsolete. There are definitely still bugs in this system.
I will not be building anything until this is fixed.

Why do people seem to think that trusted is a temporary rank :S
I have seen many people fretting over not being active for a few days, and loosing the rank.
Well that's because Trusted members have to fullfill a certain water quota. I think the internal memos specified something like what, 100 buckets per week?

Use /helpop in game to get the attention of a staff member regarding your issue, as I am not in your timezone.
You should not mine them until someone is watching as without us seeing them turn to the item we cannot prove they actually have.
I tried /helpop a couple of times, and waited, to no avail. I will try again, maybe it was the wrong time. Thanks for the tip!

Well no answer on restoring my pstones, so how about an operator reimburse me $62,500 (1 diamond ore and 5 coal ore), and I will just mine the broken stones and put new ones in its place?

I can confirm that I can place a new stone and mine it. The stone shows in in "/ps locations". But if I mine one of my old pstones, it turns to coal. I just lost a coal ore this way during testing (but gained a piece of coal - go me).

ALL of my protection stones are broken. I have had several placed, since before the bug happened. When I issue "/ps locations" it says "No fields found."
Fortunately I knew about the bug and I have not mined any of my stones accidentally, so they are still in place.
What do I need to do to get my stones recognized again?

This is a bug in the Precious Stones plugin. It has happened to me and other people in our town (although not on account of griefing). There is no real overlapping area. I posted about this a few weeks ago.

What's going on with the pstones? I'm paranoid about building anything significant. It's been a while since mine worked. ALL my pstones are broken! I can't build!

I have just found out why the protection stones are being buggy currently: The plugin is currently under construction by its developers, so he is looking into updating the plugin to reflect the new changes since the compromise. I've been thinking about this statement and its left me puzzled. Okay, the plugin is under construction. But how does that affect Opticraft? Unless...the server was updated to a buggy release of the plugin. Is it not possible to simply revert back to the previous version? Protection stones were working one day, and then broken the next. What changed?
