Number of completed, decorated and furnished buildings: This project is not a building but a gargantuan piece of art, that being said it does currently contain three completed / decorated structures in the immediate vicinity. One of these structures is intended as a viewing platform with a perfect vantage of both "It's Dangerous" and the adjacent project by Interbane the "Necro Ziggurat"
What state is the project in, and what are your plans for its future, if any: After a few months of endless shearing, digging, and building this project is finally complete. Interbane and I have begun integrating it into the projects for the "Necro Ziggurat" with the building of the viewing tower, as well as connections from the catacombs of the ziggurat to the base "It's Dangerous". Future integration is intended though we haven't yet decided quite how to proceed.
My home setpoint will take you to the base of the viewing tower. Climbing to the top of this tower will allow you the aforementioned view of the "Necro Ziggurat" as well as "It's Dangerous. Warping to "/home Aristodemes Top" will take you to the very top of the project where you can truly get an appreciation for the scale of this work.
Why should we grant this project protection?
-This is an iconic image that will invoke a strong feeling of nostalgia in any gamers of our generation, while simultaneously tying this image and those feelings to the world of Minecraft.
-The scale / scope of this is phenomenal (for a legit build). It's comprised of 57,344 blocks in the main project alone representing a horde of wealth to any would-be griefer. There are approximately 42,000 blocks of wool and 12,000 blocks of netherrack. The key elements of the project are built from over 1,000 rare and valuable materials such as gold, diamonds, and emeralds.
- The size of this project makes finding / fixing grief an uninviting task. I frequently have to patrol the project and replace missing blocks. Any blocks that are missing above the base of the project require me to build scaffolding just to reach them. As the project extends from bedrock to just below the upper limits of the sky this can be rather time consuming.
- This project is viewable from the Live Map, and is in fact so large that it is the only way to see it all at one time. It can / should be used in conjunction with many of the other impressive builds to advertise and draw new players to this amazing server.
