I just got into these "gang" games.

Well, not really. I played and beat Sleeping Dogs (SUCH AN AMAZING GAME) and got a hold of Saints Row: The Third for a dollar (Now own the Full Package). Played it for about an hour, even though it felt like 10 minutes, so that's pretty kool. Also got a hold of GTA Complete on Steam. But haven't played any.

I'm voting for GTA V.

I'm going to skip all the old Nintendo game consoles, such as the game boys, game cube, and all of those. What got me started with pc gaming was Club Penguin in about 2005 or 2006. After a while of playing that game, my brother got me into Runescape. This went on for 2 or 3 ish years then I discovered minecraft from a guy that made runescape videos on youtube. I would play that game on my mom's computer and she didn't like it so I asked for a laptop for christmas and got it. Then I got steam and got different games on steam such as super meat boy and tf2. My laptop could never handle any games and I put up with it for 2 years, then I asked for a powerful PC for christmas (I got to assemble it, it was fun). 4 months later I have 400GB of games on my computer.

Dang, that sucks. I feel bad for you...

That's a lot of money.
(I would know, I've spent $200 in the past 2 months)
And I only get games on sale. Most I've spent is like $19.99 on a single game (And even that one came with a free one). So I have no new releases and still spent that much.
Idk, I like rambling about myself.

I know it's financially beneficial, but there's no way I'd be happy doing it.
College is for life, I don't feel like starting the first two years being unmotivated to do anything and just hating it.
I don't feel it's worth it to save some money and transfer to some place I could already be accustomed to for years in advance.

Just my opinion since I hate my home; at first I wanted to go out-of-state, but I started reconsidering it when I really started thinking about it. I knew I didn't wanna go to community, it basically wasn't an option.

I started off getting crappy acceptances, but nothing I was interested in.
I started getting denied to places I wanted to go, all in-state.

My priority school got denied, then the next, then the last priority; for in-state.
So all in-state was denied except CSU Fullerton (Which won't matter if I get accepted or denied).

I got Oregon, but didn't have anything I wanted to major in (At that time; right now I'm not sure).
Then I got University of Tampa, which did have my major, but I stopped being interested in the school shortly before being accepted, so didn't matter.
Then Duquesne gave me a $14k scholarship, but again, didn't have my major.

I thought Boston was gonna for sure deny me, so I wasn't sure what I was gonna do, but after I got accepted, it was basically a 100% yes until I saw the costs.

$60k a year is insane, but it's a good school, so it should leave me with a good job or at least a good experience.
Gotta do something with my life. :P

Sorry, for my pre-college life story. Lol.

I'm tired of my home and community college is literally my last option. I hate being home.
I'd rather (probably wouldn't) go to one the random college acceptances I got than go to a community college.

And as I said, I did file FAFSA, but not CSS Profile.

I'll just worry about the money later.

In-state and out-of-state are the same for Boston.

It's known for being an expensive school, but honestly, I don't have much choice.
Denied to all my other good colleges and accepted to a bunch of free apps I did for fun.

Awaiting: (Idk why it's taking so long)
CSU Fullerton

Denials:
UC Santa Cruz
UC San Diego
San Diego State University
CSU Long Beach

Accepted:
University of Oregon
University of Tampa
Drexel
Duquesne University
Northern Arizona University
The King's College: New York
And idk how, but
Boston University (I literally didn't reach any of the requirements, and they still accepted me)

And I did fill out FAFSA.
Turns out Boston requires CSS Profile too, but no one told me it existed and was due by February 15th.
Hopefully I can file it next semester and from then on to get a further discount.

What school are you going to for $40k a year?

All my tuition is in loans, $20k in debt ftw!

Boston University.
And I think it's 50k-60k. Not 40k. Lol.

Anyone got tips on paying for this shit?
Pulling out loans would put me in debt for the rest of my life.

School tuition: $40k a year.
What do I do?

Anyone have this game on Steam?
I just got it last night, but didn't play it 'til today. Holy shit is it fun.
I thought I would regret buying it, but I'm so glad I did.
I can't wait 'til I get my friend's controller adapter, 'cause the keyboard controls are a little weird and difficult, but you can get used to it.

Anyone have it? I'd love to race some people. :D

Ugh, there's a way to get this game for $27 right now, but I'm scared to spend that much money 'cause I have not stopped spending money for 3 months now. And the way to get it seems kinda bad. D:

That is also why I'm hesitant to buy this game. :P
I feel like I could get more out of spending $60 on multiple games rather than one. I'll just "obtain" previous SimCity's to tide me over.

Had I not spent $200 on other games in the past month, I'd have picked this one up.
I'll wait for a sale to get it. Or maybe when my 20% discount on Gamersgate works as cash back instead of credit.

How is it so far?
