But I heard 1.3 isin't coming out until just before October.

Nah it'll be out by the begining of July. You may be looking at old info for the beta

I think 1.3 is still quite a ways off guys.  Played the latest snapshot, which has a lot of cool shyt in it by the way, and noticed that since they added the LAN Multiplayer option the game lags HARDCORE.   I'm talking like every 5 blocks you break you have to break probably 2 of them over again.  Block lag on single player!  Oy vey...  Jeb has a lot of cleaning up to do with the code.

Yea, it's going to be a little while yet.  Jeb is still adding new stuff to the snapshots.  He just added different types of wood stairs.  After he's done adding stuff there is bug checking, code optimization, and then a final bug check... So yea, not happening any time soon.

An update on the Member world:

A much-needed breath for air for some people, and we're happy to say that the world is just about ready. There still needs to be a few finalizing touches, but it should be unveiled within the next 2-3 days-- unless something else pops up in their way.
