Animal Spawning & Loction Notifier

Well my idea is Animal Spawning.
Well basicly if anybody has played Creative there are eggs with you place and it creates an Animal.
I thought of this because i was trying to find some Cows then gave up, But with this the Player who places the egg will be able to place inside a pen or in there house!
I woudn't think really cheap like 250 per i would say consider its a shortcut around 500 750 really (Per egg)
Conisder its a SMP server it woudn't be allowed but i think its a safer and quicker way to start a farm.

Also Location Notifier Could be like Protection Stone or Protection stone when a player enters a field it would come up for example

Entering Epic city - Do Not Grief

=========================================
Entering Enderpolis - City in The End
=========================================

There just a few examples i belive this is possible because thats what it does when you leave spawn.

Yes it would be nice. I agree with you but wouldn't it be hard to implement because there are lots of cities out there and everybody would apply for this idea and it would be a chaos  :-\.

True, It would be chaos maybe people that get a city protection then or it costs something around 10k...

D00MKNLGHT got it because his city application was accepted. Moreover, it would be very annoying when you enter any house and this pops up: "entering fadmad1998's home"

I don't believe it's possible for pstones to provide messages like that, it would take alot of configuration. WorldGuard provides those messages eg: /warp *Welcome To NorthTown
I don't think this should be prior as Member + world will soon be released.

It woudn't be annoying because it would be used for large areas not a 11 x 11 house maybe 50 x 50 100 x 100 nothing smaller Also ive been to Enderpolis and i have never seen it say that...

The only reason I don't support this is because the rate at which mobs are spawning is due to the fact that so many mob farms/ grinders were being built that it significantly drove the average number of mobs per chunk way up. It got to a point where this issue caused a certain algorithm to go out of sync and that caused the mob numbers to plummet.

When Optical puts a cap on the number of mobs spawning, it should bring the mob numbers back up to speed, but there may be a slight reduction due to the cap.

Also, you really only need two of each animal to start making more, so this would make the spawn egg idea go down the drain real quickly.

That is true. I afked near my spawner for 2 hours once and 509 spiders spawned while i was afk(calculated from the earned levels). I know that there are more people out there who just do like me so yeah the mob spawn rates goes down.

Maybe again with price high priceing so people would buy less not bringing so many Mobs
