3. Purchase protection stone at the market. It helps... I promise!

Great post, but really if you wanna stop griefers that's the only one you need.  You can build a house out of diamonds if you want, as long as you have a (working) PS protecting it you're good.  I said it once, I'll say it again, I never build anything without having a PS around it first.  AND I'M A MOD!  I can just rollback grief with a simple command.  I'd rather not have to though... I'll place the PS, mark the borders of it with some dirt, and then build inside that boundary.

They aren't that expensive either.  Use your first PS to build/protect a small pumpkin farm, then every $1500 go get another coal PS and expand your farm.  Once your farm is big enough to do 64 pumpkins per collection, there won't be any stopping you.  Yes, I know there are farms that do like 5000 per collection, but that's the lazy man's way of getting money and it gets rid of the challenge.  I'd rather be noted for building epic structures on my own without much money than wasting a ton of map space with some god-awful automated farm.  Anyone can build epic stuff with a virtual creative mode, but the more effort it takes the more praise you deserve.  Remember that.

What if you are just starting out and don't have cash to buy protection stones?   What do you do then?

I've been building farms and stuff underground and out of sight.

When you start you get a coal protection stone and something like $500 for the market.  That's what you start your farm with.  Anyone can get a good farm started with that kind of bonus.

Know what?  I'm actually seriously considering removing all but $500 from my account, giving myself everything a starting player starts with, and do a quick tutorial video on how easy it is to get yourself established here.  I'm tired (this isn't directed at you Wildfire52) of players saying this server is difficult and that they can't afford PS stones.  If you can't afford PS stones then you're doing it wrong, plain and simple!

Actually did the tutorial video last night, but the audio glitched so my voice was almost inaudible and the in-game sounds were way too loud.  I had a cool little pumpkin farm going in under 10 minutes, and over 30 iron by the end of the video!  Of course, I rolled it all back when I finished the video so I didn't take away from any players.  Gonna try again tonight after adjusting my audio a bit.

LOL... Best screen shot ever!  Where did you get that tractor for farming in Minecraft!?  It looks so realistic!

Looking forward to seeing those tutorials.  It's going a bit off topic but people might also benefit from learning new/creative ways to farm more efficiently.  It helps get you up and running faster.  I have been tinkering with some of that my self and have helped some people out with that.
