anyone else experiencing trouble with logging into minecraft.net through the desktop?

same with me and when u say login issues do u mean the can't connect to minecraft that pops up. I think it happens whenever notch dose a major update. I think 1.3 is coming out.

ya i cant get on internet is fine but it said can not connect to minecraft i will try brower hope it works cause opticraft is the best sever ever.

Wait...was this on 3/06/12?
Because I'm on a laptop, and Minecraft just closed (it always happens) and then I couldn't get back in

Minecraft.net login servers are down -confirmed- so ya might as well just hold off till they're back up.

Minecraft.net and your client launcher both run from the files saved to your jar (I believe) so optihelp ect. should all be there if you were to try in the browser, I'll check then edit this post to see what happens.

Unless I literally cannot because of this.

Edit: I got black screen'd on minecraft.net first attempt.
