If a member is inactive for a while, say, a week, does that effect their chance of getting trusted? My friend asked but hes not the brightest bulb and doesn't know how to post. Thank you in advance.

A week? No. A month? Maybe.
We tend to lose track of most members because of the ever growing community. So I guess you would have a better chance if you maintain a constant activity rate.
