We've tried to leave it as unconstrained as possible, since we're not sure exactly what we're after. The reason it hasn't been drawn yet is because we haven't had enough submissions that we thought would make a good fit.

If you're looking to submit more and want some advice - perhaps try something new or different from the rest of the submissions. Have a look at the world of warcraft and banners for other games on the vote sites, even other minecraft servers. Perhaps they can give you some idea's (Don't steal anything!).

All your banners have similiar styles and what not, try something that is the opposite of that.

I wanted to post a banner, but guys, I dont know what is happening. I crop the picrutes either with photo programs, or with Gif programs, but I get only a square smaller picture and empty spaces on the sides.
Do you have ideas on how to fix that?

Use the select tool to grab the actual image and manually expand it that way.
That's the most basic way you can do it, I'm assuming you don't have Photoshop, so I gave instructions you can do with Paint.

But, It would be my honor if I could create something equal to the preferred quality.
So, except from photoshop, is there any other program I could use?
