1matthew2 banned on fourms

My friend 1matthew2 is still banned on the fourms. I think a mod told him he would be unabanned on July 5.

Just wondering when he will be unbanned.

Should be resolved now. I do hope we don't have something like this happen again.

In the future, if he is going to post anything anywhere, he probably should have a good reason for doing so. Otherwise, he shouldn't be posting just for the sake of posting.

I banned 1mattew2 from the forums for constantly spamming the auction house. He was told of by myself and Alicia and various members to stop spamming bids, yet he continued. The ban should be over soon.

It should have been over yesterday. He should be able to get on now. Rest assured we will keep a close eye on forum activity.

Just as a general reminder, if someone tells you to stop what you are doing (especially staff), you'd better do so immediately. Use of the forums is a privilege, and if any further abuse continues, consider yourself singled-out for a long time.

The ban was for 5 days, but when it was initially created it wasn't done right and he was still able to use the forum for a couple more days.  When the ban was corrected it was set to 5 days (which is how long he should have been banned for) and that's why it didn't end when he was told it was going to end.
