I would like to point out that "Not listening to me." is not a reason to ban someone.

If, for example someone is invading someone else's property and refuses to leave, you can simply TP him to the market or kick him.

I would hardly consider 10 minutes a ban. more like a time-out.

nokidding... getting a 10 min ban is almost better than 10 min in the jail... at least if your banned you dont have minecraft stairing you in the face... if your jailed your even more confused...
