HELP everytime I log on to opticraft smp server it goes on to a black screen.

Hi guys,
I was playing minecraft and then it suddenly froze and I had to shut down my computer. I went back on to minecraft to go on to Opticraft but after the logging in bit it turned into a black screen. Is there something wrong with the server or me (not personally  ;D) ? Could you guys tell me whats going on and help me?
