hello, i went to vote today and firefox (advisory by google) told me that the page was listed as being a host to malicious content

I had the same thing happen. I would run a virus scan on your computer, and I advise this to everyone as it is possible that the top100 site was compromised, and that an exploit kit was planted on their server. Exploit kits allow the hacker to infect computers without the user even seeing a download prompt. Once again, it is highly recommended that all users scan their computers!

One of their adverts might have been compromised or something, just steer clear of it until Google says it's all clear.

Installed AVG, nothing found, it probably was something through an advertisement that was being detected, and who cicks on those anyway.

just voted and google / firefox didn't try to stop me, it seems like the issue is resolved already. :)
