Slimes spawning

ok could someone give me a straight answer as to why no slimes are spawning anymore? slimes are virtually impossible to get now. and its been like this for a very long time. any news as to whats going on would be greatly appreciated.

We need slime spawns working again! And for that matter all spawns working again there are no mobs on this server anymore!

I'm thinking that we need to check out some of the mob farm/ exp grinders again. Might be a few of those going into overflow once again...

You are wrong both of you.
In my building area, I find easily 4-6 mobs walking around.

As far as slimes, they started spawning the last days.
One guy got 16 slimes just like that.

We hope that with the new version on August 1st, this problem will get fixed.

Back when minecraft displayed the world seed I used the seed to find out which chunks spawned slimes. The chunks I am in and that bobbarkee is in once spawned slimes. Multiple of them very quickly and constantly spawning them. Now there is not a single slime despite expanding to two floors to increase spawning space.

Indeed it is. Its like using the old reis mini map mod to show slime chuncks. Anything that gives you more of an advantage than other players is against the rules.

Well its a new seed now lol, and also you can actually do the math in your head to find slime chunks, so being smart is cheating?

Being smart isn't cheating. If you know what you're doing without needing any fancy mods or cheats, kudos to you. You are a smart player and you will outshine all others in some way

Very few people like to take the lazy route. That's their loss for doing so.

I have been getting slimeballs at a rate of 64/(2-3 hours) they are definitively fixed
