Cocoa beans to sell at market!

i'm debating here, sure it will make the server a bit less, "survivalish" but it would be a easy way to get protection stones, since everyone always complains about grief.

you cant autofarm them (like full auto melon/pump farms)

you can semi auto farm them, (like semi wheat farms)

as far of making money, a semi farm woudnt provide that easely
the only reason would be the survival aspect, wich i could agree on

You can't auto farm, but you can semi-auto farm...
You can use pistons to push the logs so they all fall off, or water.
All you have to do is re-plant.

I think they should be sold because for the poor, we cant afford to buy protection stones and now my farm was raided of all my crops because i couldn't afford to protect my farm

This looks like a very debatable topic, and I think we all should take some time and think whether or not they should be able to be sold at the market.

Guys, the reason why you can't sell Cocao beans and wheat is the same reason why Melons and Pumpkins is removed from the market. This will be just like an endless discussion like Melons-and-Pumpkins-removed-from-the-market-discussion-topic. People are gone to abuse it. This server isn't about making money or to get rich. And that is why I am against this idea. If you want to get money or want to be rich, just be a year on the server. Then you have loads of stuff and a load builded. Then you are rich too. You just need to be patience.

Also, as some other guy said, we can give them away. OR make cookies. 2 wheat and a cocoa bean already hands you 8 cookies. And besides, can't we stick to mining ores to get money? And yeah, everyone wants to be rich. Donate plz?
