Trusted suggested

I think it would be good if opticraft had a trusted suggested list like if u know or u see someone that u would trust u add them to the list and then mods+ could then look it over and decide if they should be trusted make it where u CANT suggest Yourself.

There is a thread already like this actually, but it is only in the Staff Forum, only availible to staff.

But what if a guest or member knows people that would be awesome as trusted?

The Staff don't really need a thread that will consist of people constantly spamming names and more names of randomn players who could be really new to the server, been banned a lot, etc. I also think that kind of responsibility should only be given to staff because they know exactly what to look for, not just a kind guy who's funny and cracks jokes in chat, but more that silent guy who tries to help out as much as possible to the best of his ability, plus more. The thread would just almost instantly be flooded with names of people who do the ole "I'll suggest you if you suggest me" type of thing, it would just be chaos. I think the responsibility should be kept with staff and only staff. Not trying to shoot down your idea, just stating some flaws.

I doubt this would be implemented. Members really dont have much of a say in who does or doesnt get trusted. The trusted have some say, but not much. Its mostly only mods who can recommend, which would be why the trusted suggestions is in the staff forum.

As far as immature staff and protections go - If someone is misbehaving, report them. Classic operator is meaningless on beta, and im not going to lie, many of the current classic operators are very immature and childish, and i will not tolerate their behavior on beta.
