Reason for application: Jumping around from server to server, I ultimately felt that Opticraft was the only one that really felt like "the one" for me. This server made me feel like I was apart of a community that really knew what it was doing, friendly, and helpful. The reason I am putting this application in is because I strongly believe that although there are a lot of honest and courteous players, there are also its fair share of "bad" ones as well. There should always be an operator online to help out other in the server and watch over in case of any griefers that may ruin other peoples hard work. I plan on staying with Opticraft for some time, and I want to truly be apart of the great community that this is.
Why you should become an operator: I believe that I should become an operator for two main reasons, I am very attentive to other peoples needs, and I am very supportive. Ever since I began playing in this server since I was a noob, I felt that the main people in helping me with my problems were the operators. They really helped me understand the basics and rules of the game and it really made me feel good that other people would go out of their way to help someone with no knowledge at all, which requires a surreal amount of patience as well. Therefore, I always sought out to help people the best I could even since I was a recruit and it made me feel good helping others as well. It is very unfortunate that people would have to have their work destroyed only seconds later by someone who does not respect others.
Extra information: I think that my time zone is quite ideal for the needs of this server because I am in the EST time zone in the US and whenever I am on, there seems to be very few ops if any at all on. Or maybe I just don't realize. I am also quite active being that I am on winter break for my university.
:edit: there are also times where i am on where guests would ask if any op is online then ask me, but there is nothing i can do and it really bothers me a little because they would spend all their time on something they worked on for hours for it only to be griefed before anyone can check it out
