Hello Opticrafters,

I have a question to ask. When 1.4 is released (Around Halloween) and the server is upgraded will opticraft let the wither be spawned? Because after doing research the only way to obtain a beacon block is through a nether star and the only way to get a nether star is by killing the wither and the only way to get a wither is by spawning it with wither skull heads. So knowing this will the wither be able to be spawned even though it can go on a destructive killing spree?

The only way of obtaining this block (legitimately) is by creating a crazy monster that kills everyone it sees and is really powerful.

Like the Ederdragon, we'd only spawn in the Wither every now and then, since it seems like it tends to destroy blocks not native to its realm, which can constitute to a buttload of missing blocks if players aren't careful.

Come to think of it, I don't think we're spawning the enderdragon anymore, since I haven't heard any word on any recent End Exhibitions...

They cant brake obsidian so if you make a save room its fine in a controled envirment, maybe u need permission to make one, like thry make an area that alows you to creat the boss, for say a obsiadam room so no harm is done

There's going to be those few opportunities where people are going to break the obsidian walls out of 'curiosity' and let loose the firestorm that resides within.

Unless of course that area is zoned, I don't think we can control that for very long.

And I do believe that, like the enderdragon, the Wither can go through blocks to reach players. I have not tested that theory out as of yet, so don't quote me on that.

You only just realised? It's been happening since 1.7.3 came out.

As to the Wither thingy, I would like to see it, and the Ender Dragon spawned more. Come to think of it, why not make it so the Wither is spawned in the end? There isn't much to break there.

This isn't the "let's bitch about minecraft updates" topic. Every damn update.. We get it, you don't like it.

For anyone that has seen Nick and Relkeb fireball the market and spawn and that know the wither shoots 3 knows that it won't happen unless under completely controlled circumstances. You should start thinking of ideas and bringing them to Nick and Relkeb if it's something you really want.

I'm with Nyssa on this.  You guys always say the updates are stupid.  It makes me dissapointed to see that an admin doesn't like the updates.  I see nothing wrong with the updates, they are adding very nice things.
