minecraft...
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:49:04 am »
i installed the jdk 1.7 for my programming class so i can use BlueJ and the newest NetBeans and now minecraft says "Needs Java RunTime Environment 1.5.0"

i uninstalled all my java things, then re-installed them.  I get the same error.  I deleted all my minecraft folders and files, and tried to re-install but i still get the same exact error.

Anyone have any idea??

That's what I'd do. Since Google isn't too helpful this time.
I'll ask my tech friend when he gets back online if this doesn't work.

That's exactly what i did, but i found a fix. I just cant use a .exe anymore so i have to use a .jar extension and each time i want to play, i have to click and run it with my JRE that i have.
