"Forum Games" child board

This is just an idea I had. I think that it would be a good idea to create a "Forum Games" child board under General Discussion. There are so many forum game threads, so having one of these would make it easier to find them.

I'd like to bump this suggestion, as it didn't really get much attention or discussion.

I still think this is a good idea, It'd be useful to have the forum games in offtopic filtered from the other general offtopic posts. Some offtopic threads aren't getting much notice because of forum games constantly being bumped.

I feel it would be used for people to spam and attempt to boost their post count although no one cares the amount of posts a user has but I feel if it was given its own forum it would be misused

who knows being under the off-topic forum maybe the games thread wouldn't add to the post count

That's right, post count will be disabled, it only makes sense.

I think this would be a good idea, as the offtopic section is overflowing with games and many other topics get pushed aside as even more forum games are made and existing ones are constantly bumped. thank you xdeekay for bumping this

If this were to be implemented, I'd say that only a few active topics would be moved over (threads from page 1 and 2)
A similar thing happened with the 'Trade Central' when it was first made, only new-ish threads were moved to the child board.

But the 'Trade Central' board was created for the same reason; to filter out trade threads from the regular discussion.

Yeah prolly only the most popular games would be moved and all the active ones from the GD, moving all of them would be too time consuming but if someone felt like going thru and moving them all they could xD

I could see a use but that would be for a whole different suggestion xD
