New donation idea

Well I read in a post a long time ago a great idea, the idea was that you donate and you can get a build from the server map. It would be like this, you donate, show an admin or someone the build, and then there'd put it on a schematic ( using world edit) and send it to the donator
This would mean everyone's happy and the server can pay for more epic stuff!

So the staff would have to make the buildings? Because I think we would need permission from the owners of the building. Or not, because it is on our server. Nice thought anyway.

Donating for a schematic of someone's build on the server? I believe the Admins won't have time for that, we'll just have to see other Staff's opinions.

I remember Vioer saying why this shouldn't be allowed a long time ago...

The reason he said was the fact that people could download the map, use all the mods they want, like X-ray, then go back on the server and mine those diamonds again. So basically, they get away with xraying.

Did you even read it? I mean, if they pay for getting expensive blocks ported to singleplayer, whatever, they could just spawn them in, but I think you misunderstood.

Basically  what this is saying (correct me if I'm wrong) is that if someone see a build on the server, like the guestworld castle, for example. They like it, and they want to build it. So, the admin or op can use WorldEdit schematics and copy the building, and they send it to the person that wanted the copy.

Edit: Note that i believe that he was saying that the copy is only going to be used in your SINGLEPLAYER world
