infinite heart (hungry)

Hey guys ! Since opticraft is a SMP server... I think we should remove the infinite life (hungry). Heres what i mean : when we are hungry... No jeeds to eat-we start lossing heart and after the 5th one, it stops so we are kinda like invicible... Its a survival server so it would be cool if we remove this. Plus , now our farm would be necessary ty

well i'd assume the reason it doesn't kill you is that that difficulty if set to easy, turning it to hard would cause you to die from starvation but it would also make mobs stronger and cause you to take more damage which isn't particularly fair to the casual players

i agree if it's a survival server we should b able to die from starving but i'm not sure it's easily doable short of making the mob difficulty harder or getting a plugin specifically for this

cuz believe it or not, not everyone can handle hard minecraft, so for the sake of the general public i'd assume they made it easier? i could b wrong to, maybe it's on normal, don't think u'd lose any hearts if it were easy.

in easy we lose all our hearts... its on peacefull tht we lose anything

I think we're on normal.

The server seems like its on easy. Hunger starvation stops at 5 hearts, not too many mobs spawn.

says we're on easy mode since it stops at 5 hearts instead of 1/2

unless one of the plugins is making it otherwise? idk...

5 hearts is just a number from full health. 1/2 is a threshold from when your character enters starvation.

Say you had 6 full hearts and you entered starvation. Half of that would be 3 hearts-- so on and so forth.

It only stops at 5 hearts for most people because a lot of people like to maintain full health when they have food on hand.

So there is no set number of hearts to go down to-- it's a general threshold.

Are you sure about that? I don't believe I've ever seen it taken me down below 5 (And I enderpearl around a lot, so I'm not normally on full health).

I've starved to death from a full hunger bar before.... it was more than half of whatever hearts i had...
