ALL my pstones reverted to regular ores, and I got griefed.

Well I discovered I have lost 5 lapis pstones, 4 diamond pstones, and many coal pstones when I logged in today.

It's been a while since I logged in but I noticed that several pstones were missing from my build. I issued "/ps locations" and it said "no fields found."

WTF?

I did not crouch when placing these stones, and they worked for a while but now they are gone. To add insult to injury, someone came by and mined a few of them, and grief the road leading to my underground storage shed.

I worked my ass off to buy the diamond pstones and it really bothers me that I have lost them AGAIN (third time this has happened in a year). I had a plan of building a really cool tower using diamond pstones to protect it but now I have lost all motivation to build, knowing that my carefully placed pstones can just turn into regular ores, only to be mined by griefers.

One of the things that I used to like about this server is the economical and straightforward way you can use pstones to protect your build. Unfortunately that is quickly becoming obsolete. There are definitely still bugs in this system.

I will not be building anything until this is fixed.

Yep, I'm aware of that and I have opened the ticket while I was at the computer (but I had to leave for RL issues).

I brought this to the forum to

1) Serve as a warning to other players

and

2) Let the developers know that there is still a lingering problem with PStones.

This happened when there was a change/ bug with the PreciousStones plugin, which was quite a few months ago. We are well aware of this issue, however we can't fix every single PStone that has been set at that time unless they are properly reported.

Granted, there are still quite a few out there that have yet to be discovered.

also, you don't have to worry about holding 'shift' to place the ores, it no longer
affects the state of the pstone.
