Do not update to 1.4.6 - Now safe to update

Benjaminc, same thing for me. I did the whole thing and when it asked me if I wanted to update when I logged in i said not now and then it continued to say "Updating Minecraft" then goes to a black screen.

are you following the video or the instructions in the previous posts?

they should be, i see no problem/harm in them.

did you end up with a 1.4.5 client? - it shouldn't be this hard to downgrade.

Yeah. Once I pressed login, I just pressed not now when it asked to upgrade to 1.4.6

Benjaminc that happened to me too so I deleted the 1.4.5 re did the whole thing and now when it gets to that point mc just goes black

We will update as soon as it is possible. As it stands, some critical plugins are not working on the latest build, so I cannot update.

Which plugins are they?
