powered rails contain 6 gold ignots
making powered rails yields 6 rails so 6/6 = 1/ea....
i can't deny ur math.... that's certainly roughly the value of the mats... but i would argue that by turning them into powered rails severely deprecates the value of them, and here's my reasoning
1) i can't sell powered rails to the market, i'd have to find a buyer like u are doing. (no easy sell value)
2) not many people need a a stack of powered rails, let alone a double chest. (low demand)
3) most people on the server don't have more than 100k. (small customer base to sell to)
of course since i'm building a subway on member world i happen to have a need and the money for a double chest of powered rails, but at full market value of the mats i have no interest in buying them it's more cost effective to farm the gold and sell other things like iron/redstone i find on the way.
i don't suppose you'd be willingly to donate them to my subway huh?
or at the very least try to come to some kinda fairer deal?
that is of course if someone doesn't make you a better offer in the mean time.....
