...Once again... what are you doing?

Also, I would like to use Gauss's law for Earth.

g=(2*pi*G)pH
9.81=(2*3.141592654*6.67e-11)p*6378100
9.81=0.002672988p
p=3670.05 kg/m3
p=36700.5 g/cm3

By this calculation, the Earth is, on average, 1,902.566 times as dense as gold. Obviously something is wrong here.

This equation only works with an infinite planar region... like ME. The Earth is not an infinite plane, so this would not apply in the way that you tried. You can't just pick random equations and use them.

As for your mass equation... it doesn't work. Even a little. Even though you get an answer, it is the result of a misapplication of an incorrect formula. Gausse's law DOES work here for calculating the density of the MC earth, which you would then multiply by it's volume (easily determinable to get it's mass). I was showing that something is OBVIOUSLY going on that we can't see, since the density is so much greater than what we observe.

That is how science works... not random application of formulas.

I did a bit of research on Gauss's law. I found a video stating that it was g*A=4*pi*G*M, where g= gravitational acceleration, A=Area, G=Gravitational constant, and M=mass. Using this equation, I found M=1.553 * 1025 kg. This wasn't exactly what you had posted, however, so I will wait for your approval of this. The mass I found with Newton's law was 1.924 * 1025 kg, not too far off from what Gauss's law states. Assuming this new value is accurate, my percent error was 23.89%.

I have done a little bit of Minecart kinematics. I have determined that their collisions are inelastic, contrary to my hypothesis. I will do further research this afternoon.

Can you post a link to the video that you watched? I want to put it in context for myself.

Ok, I thought it had something to do with the bump.
