texture pack fix

so i have faithful, but does anyone at all know where (in a texture pack folder) i would find the fire animation? i want to edit it because it gets in my way.

Locate the fire texture in the default pack, and you will most certainly find it in the same place in Faithful as well.

You'll need a program, like 7-zip or Winrar, to open up the texture pack files.

Thanks, but ive got winrar. The only "fire" i found was a blaze. Do you know what folder itd be in?

Apparently, you won't be able to find fire normally. This link should help.

That is for on the ground fire. Do you know of where to find the 1 where you the player is on fire? Thank you so much!
