hmmmm.. staff being more open minded? sounds good, but alsoto make sure the open mindedness (not sure if that is even aword) doesnt to into carelessness (ditto), mabye their couldbe something like a "for" and "against" which people could posthow the suggestion would help them, or if how it would put themat a disadvantage (I don't know if the staff already do this sortof thing, but i will suggest it anyway).e.g.allowing silk touch to work on spawners:for: allows u to make exp farm (posted by: random_guy)against: it could be used for trolling and killing lots of peopleif it were a hostile mob spawner (posted by:theantigriefguy)you get the idea

It allows you to see different ideas that may benefit what ever is going on. Also like you said, it is a good idea until it gets out of hand and open mindedness turns into "sure, pour lava on that guys house: it may light the nether portal" this exact event i am sure will never happen, but you get the idea
When we say that something is going against the rules it doesn't mean that we make the rules up on the spot, the admins discuss it with themselves and make up a decision. Also, for every rule there is a legitimate reason to it. Do you think that the admins added the rules just so they can feel like they have power? Honestly, we don't really like to remove some stuff, but for one reason or another we just have to do it.
