Loss of XP

Hi,
Sometimes, when I enchant items using books and an anvil, a weird thing happens. I put the item in my inventory, and suddenly I have back the book and unenchanted item- but I have lost the XP. Is there a way to prevent this?

This has been happening to a lot of people including myself, and I think it's just a bug with Bukkit.
If you relog you should get your exp back.

Avc, if you scroll down on this exact page on the forums, you can find a thread talking about the same exact thing getting solved.

That page is for books losing enchants. I'm talking about a weird laggy thing that happens when using an anvil.
