Ratchet and Clank Movie in 2015!?

In case you couldnt tell from the subject title, there is supposed to be a R&C movie scheduled for release in Q1 2015.

I am super excited for this movie, i just finished doing some research aka google-ing on the movie and watched the teaser trailer which was uploaded yesterday on youtube. The link can be seen below. According to several resources the story will be written by TJ Fixman, the same man who wrote the original game, along with others in the series; and will feature the same cast that voice acted in the games. The studios in charge of the project are Rainmaker Studios and Blockade Studios. I have not heard of either, however I guess Rainmaker made HotWheels: World Race which I watched and enjoyed as a kid. According to google, Blockade Ent. has worked on previous game's trailers including but not limited to Dante's Inferno, and Heavenly Sword.

I am a pretty big R&C fan and I personally, cannot wait to see this!

I also have to say, the 2nd one was pretty awesome, with the little blue furry thingys. And 4 wasn't half bad either.

I never really liked R&C 1, but hey, each to their own.

Moses: Do you know if the movie plot is going to be from one of the games, or an original story? And when about is it set?

I have never been so excited. R&C was by far one of the best games ever, my entire childhood is on that disc there. I liked the first and third game the best. I hope this isn't a huge disappointment though.
