File Moving Help

So, I'm new to downloading and installing mods. I am trying to install the Tropicraft mod.

My problem is I am trying to move the minecraftforge-universal file to the minecraft .jar. I have installed 7-zip of course cause you need 7-zip to open archive folders like the minecraft .jar. So  I'm trying to drag the minecraftforge file to the minecraft.jar file but it keeps saying "The source and destination file are the same."

How do I solve this? Thanks

Yes xdeekay! It would be very hard. I've lost my fingers in a fishing accident ya know!
