Opticraft Library!

I have had this idea for a long time and really want to make it happen.  How about an opticraft library.  This is how I plan for it to work.  People sell or donate books to my public library and then I put them all in chests around the bookshelfves.  people can then take a book out of the chest and go to the counter.  We will register it then let them go sending them a pm saying "Thank you for borrowing a book from the library, please return by --/--/--"  How about it.  and when you are done with the book, put it in the hopper at the counter if im not there.

There are some small problems.  People stealing the books and legging it (/homing it).  Is their any ways to fix that problem?  If a person looses the book or returns it late they have to pay a small fine ($5-$20).  Is there anything that I could add to help make the system better?

I will also need to find the place to build the library.  Please help.

Wooden When I'm done writing/editing a book I making may I have you look at it and donate it for the library. And I have tons of wood/stone bricks if you need any just ask Also a problem I see is that when I made a list in a book for what I sell I had it in my inventory and left and the next day got on it was blank. How do you think we could fix that problem?

I understand how irl, if you loose a book, the fee is something small like $5-20. In Opti, say someone wrote a short story in the book and the person who rents it looses it. The fee should be larger and more realistic to Opti, so maybe $250 at the least or more depending on how good or long the book is.

    Agreed, near about $50 a page is my thinkings.

I could code a quickie software that will autotype for you (if the staff don't find this illegal). Basically it would be a program where you paste text into it, then it will type the keys for you when you press play (you just gotta make sure the minecraft window is selected and tell the program where to click to go to the next page in the book).

Chief, sadly no. And I know how to automate it to where you rent it for a certain block, say 3 gold, and get the gOld back when returning the book

Thanks for all the feedback everybody, yes I will probably raise the price and if they don't pay it they wont be allowed ack into the library.  We wont build it in anybodys town for now.
