These are the statistics of the number of votes we've recieved in the past 30 days.


This is very very very low compared to the number of votes shown here. Come on guys! If most of you decided, "Hey, I'll take 2 minutes out of my day to fill out the capcha's and vote on the actual voting site instead of taking advantage of the system," then we would have a lot more new guests and members joining, sure we are still getting people joining the server but if we can vote to get us to the very top again, maybe we can get loads of new guests and possibly hit the 100+ members online instead of getting these 30-50 people on per day. We can easily achieve 50 votes per day if most of us start voting and voting on the real site. To achieve this, you can remind other people to vote on the actual voting site every day, so we have less people forgetting and so we can get more votes in.

I fully 100% support this, we need to start voting once again instead of cheating out of it. If we do, we will easily gain more new people.

i'll be honest, i'm doing that cheat voting thing but i only did it coz i thought it was the same as voting on the proper website. i now see that it's not. i will be voting on the real sit from now on! hope to see some more people joining! :D

This is an excellent thread Mr_Mr_Mr thanks for posting this.  Voting really does help keep our server going.  Without votes we will slowly wither.

I didn't realize the totals were so low.  That definitely needs to be fixed. 

Maybe some kind of group prizes?  Split folks into four teams, have each team focus on each one of the voting sites. If that site receives the most votes that week or that month then everyone on the team gets a prize. 

Or just have server wide prizes if certain thresholds are met. 

There would be a lot of free riders in either case, but perhaps a general incentive for a verifiable outcome would be better than an individual incentive that people cheat on.

Possible prizes:
Everyone can fly for a day
Free money
Free diamonds (perhaps take away the current diamond voting rewards)
Free titles for a day
Free disguises for a day
Etc

Well votifier should be the thing that determines whether we get the reward or not then, because right now it's clicking the little vote button that gives us our diamond and homes.

The implementation of the vote button just makes it easier for people to get their items and move on. Press vote button, get your diamonds, close the tab that popped up when you voted.

Honestly, ive suggested this numerous times but ive never got an answer I liked: why not just have people vote on the actual site? Do some sites not recognize individual voters? Some sites might not support votifier I heard. But why do we have to give people freebies? Why leave it up to their better judgement? We all know we live in a world where people are too damn lazy to do anything for others. Right now we have a pretty great exploit that no one is going to complain about. All it does is give free diamonds, not votes.

Remove the instant rewards when you click the vote button. It's just an exploit now.
