They dont usually just hire a handful of guys to only make maps (which requires quite a bit more work than you think) And if they do, there are very few per team in comparison to a flooded market. I'm not saying you need coding for those other jobs. Those other jobs are very few compared to all the people who want to do them is basically what I am saying. Coders are in high demand while people like map designers are a dime a dozen.

Best field to go into atm seems to be information tech, I'll probably end up doing that as it has always interested me. I'm also interested in being a fighter jet pilot for the air forces
