Any Mediveal Suggestions for my new project?

Hello, I was currently building on creative and started building this mediveal building,

I was Inspired by Madness64 But, I need some help for any roof designs for that one side?

If you think you can help me please do.

try to maybe spice the roof up by these tips:
 1) try to NOT use all one material bland roof.
 2) Try using stairs for a more curved roof and blocks for a thick nordic looking roof.
 3) Add details such as a tower or chimney.
 4) if you wanna go far with a roof use cobble/ wood for the outline then another material for the inner part
 5) little lookouts or peeks out lol thats what i call them

EDIT: also this is depending on user pref. but you can always add dragon heads and stuff like that on the end orf your roof. hope all this helps

Go to my /home farm and take a look around there, it's sorta built with that style in mind.
