How'd you get your username? Did it come to you in a dream? Did you get it from a friend? Did an angel from outer space descend unto your keyboard and type out a prophetic word that you just HAD to use as your username?

Tell me how you got your minecraft name! I'd love to hear!

For example:

I got my username from a friend who allowed me to use his account. I became known to the community as Zeradeth, so when I got my own account, I pawned the name off of him. He made the name because of something to do with the words The Red Death. He would often say it with a funny accent, which turned it into Zee Red Death. Then, he just mushed it together and out came Zeradeth, all shiny and new, ready to be stolen--*coughcough* borrowed.

i was extremely obsessed with the lonely island, LikeABoss, Like_A_Boss, LikeA_Bowse and etc was all taken, so I went back to my illiterate days and came up with LIEKABOWSE. I hate the username and I want to change it.

"Afro" being my username would just be... kinda messed up. And zera, its pronounced Zayeradith right? Or is it Zeyradeth?

Well mine was my ps3 account but my mum came up with it, she came up with daniblue since my names dani and favourite colour is blue and blink 182 was my favourite music at the time but the rhyme is ' I'm dani I like blue and I'm 18 too (2)' tad random :L made my account feb last year  (2012) but I've had mc since early 2011 but I had a 'free' one

My username actually has a pretty boring backstory. My friend watched the matrix and wouldn't stop calling me Neo. He came up to me one day and said, "You are the one, Neo." I liked the ring of theone, so I took that, put some numbers on it, and became what you all now know me as.

My name is Moses, shocking right? And my best friend's little brother use to call me "Holy Moses" during summer camp. One day he got minecraft one day and told me to try it out, so I registered my name as Holy_Moses and here we are today. I almost named my account Kenmeri after my favorite datsun. I did end up making an account called Kenmeri but its a spectator on classic and i forgot the pw lol.
