OK, so this will be edited a lot.

Next Minecraft Update: Minecraft 1.7

Release date: Unknown

 TREES

There should be a new tree, named a "cherry tree" which will also come with a new food: cherries. Spruce trees will alos exist in the Extreme Hills biome.

 BIOMES

 Jeb did post a pic of a badlands biome made with hardened clay. There should also be biomes from the "Biomes O' Plenty" mod. www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5P1e_EhciY

 GAMEPLAY FEATURES AND BUG FIXES

.Added more options in "Options" menu
."Reset" button
.You may now bind screenies, cinematic view POV different keys
.Fixed Stronghold torch bug
.Fixed Village Water bug
.Fixed Zombie Pigmen spawning by lightning do not carry swords

 MOBS

None confirmed ATM

ITEMS

MAYBE new wood and new leaf block (Cherry) and maybe cherries- food
