Hey everyone i got my beta server up and running so people can join now. The ip is 72.87.184.27 .

EDIT: this is no longer the server ip. I have just rented a new one and the new ip is 72.51.43.74:26165 . It will start on 2011-03-04

I used notch software before but know i am currently running the bukkit software. Im still learning how to edit the server. Other than that hope this answers you questions  :)

You should get some plugins for it. Theres some pretty cool ones out there.

He's trying to get some plugins working, I got plugins working on my server (Just made one) but I need more ram to let other people join o.O

That means dejong doesn't have the server on at the time that you tried connecting.

I don't always have the server on but its usually on in the day/ night for 5 hours. Also since notches recent update I can't use bukkit thus no plugins. For now I'm on my origional map and notches server software. Still cool map but no mods. Hope to have bukkit running by next week.

Bukkit updated there builds so check it out.
I believe it's now compatible with Minecraft Beta 1.3_01

And GL with your server!
