I always love your events Cora. They bring the community together. I might come but not sure what I'll be doing on xmas.

Btw....I dont have OCD but the mispelling of Christmas is just killing me on the topic name...I think all the grammar nazis ive ever met are finally rubbing off on me.

Act that morning, christmas parade that afternoon, and a christmas party that night. Well, good luck with it!  ;)

You and Ramkitty both hosted an awesome event last time. I expect the same outcome with this :)

Thanks everyone!! Ramkitty and I do really enjoy putting these together for you!! So as long as the demand is up they shall continue - though I can't always promise this amount of frequency! Lol.

Anyway just felt I should address the multi-religious issue surrounding this holiday- and the event specifically. I am not buying in to the Jesus Christ aspect of the holiday especially with the different religious views we can all have. I personally am not a believer of ANYTHING... not atheist, christian, Jewish, wiccan, what have you - but I respect and even somewhat admire those that can have such blind faith. I believe in Santa Claus and the magical look on my daughters' faces Christmas morning when they see their stockings filled and extra presents under the tree all because of their good behavior throughout the year. I know it's kind of sad to buy into the commercialism of it all - but I do and I'm not ashamed to admit it. That said there's no religious icons at the event location. It is hosted INSIDE a present, that is decorated with beautiful lighting, a fire place, a tree, and a Christmas wreath. There will be no crosses, menorah's, mangers, or anything slightly religious. I hope that this satisfies any/all religious issues and that we can all have a wonderful "Holiday" celebration together, sans religious battles!

I have deleted posts to prevent any sort of religious argument.

Carry on with the discussion of the event.
