The server is now updated to 1.7.8, so feel free to update your clients.

Currently the update, which doesn't add any features that would affect us, is not supported by the server. Keep this in mind if you decide to update, and remember you can downgrade back to 1.7.5 in the game launcher.

i know you already know of this problem but just wanted to let people know if there are any delays and the server isn't updated straight away it's because the inventories were mixed up or something.

Bukkit updates from 1.7.5 to 1.7.9 have been to prepare servers for the new UUID change (Minecraft username changing)
Nothing has changed visible in-game, but a lot of code has gone into supporting UUID.
