His speed in which he plays just fascinates me. As a guitar player i can tell you that this is not the least bit impressive, all he is doing is sweeping which is not very impressive.. If you want impressive guitar playing go to 2:20 of this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSX86zPnUkYOne of the greatest songs ever. Dream theater has a lot of great songs!

Granted I am no guitar player myself but if you were to try it you would struggle, 'oh mighty guitar lord nick'

Granted I am no guitar player myself but if you were to try it you would struggle, 'oh mighty guitar lord nick' I see i was wrong, but in any case there is no melody to what he is playing. Being good at guitar isnt about being fast. Check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9-gj0LNi08 Skip to 1:48 if you like tapping. I truly believe andy james is the best guitarist I have listened to. But he is all shred as opposed to playing a melody like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f27P6_DB1vwWhile shred may seem more talented at first it is actually harder to write a more melodic song due to the fact that one misplaced note will screw up the whole melody.
I'm listening to the best band ever. You should know. One song they made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_GHXghmBjU&feature=relatedt3dd123 is also awesome, but not a band. You will subscribe to t3dd123 on YouTube.
Okay, number one, what the heck kinda song is that?? Is it in a different language?
