Closed - My Dilema - Crafter or Operator....

Ugh I simply don't know what to do right now....I've been a temporary OP 3 times now and I feel I have what it takes to be a good OP on this server

Everyone, guess who are next crafter's gonna be.

I would guess terrewee or tbpb whenever they get their lazy ass to applicating ;p

haha tbpb would make a good op, he got temp today and he did a great job.

(Mr thinks so too )  But seriously I'm not sure if I should be going for operator when the initial reason I joined Opticraft and the minecraft community was to build (similar to Raul).  

I really wanna go for Crafter and bring wonderful works to the server but I also want to be Operator and help the people of the server (I've had way too many OPless afternoons )  I think Morten said that if a person does become OP they are allowed to go for Crafter and vice versa so which one do you think I should do for now people of Opticraft.  Should I go for Crafter or Operator first?  (And of course I know I still may not get the rank when I apply but I need to know)

If you are not fully committed to becoming an operator if/when you apply, then don't bother applying at all.

go for operator, and if you don't like it anymore, go for crafter. maybe you'll like operating better than building?

I'm well aware of that.  I dont want to go for operator unless I'm willing to put forth all my effort towards it (meaning setting aside alot of my time to build).  Of course I'll still may consider Crafter if the OP jobs gets tiresome after a while but if the people of the server think another OP is needed more than another Crafter then I'll do my best to be the best OP I can be.

I actually like both alot probably building slightly more than operating but who knows!  If I do become an op maybe it'll become even more addicting than building I do like the happiness recruiting potential builders brings and the joy of banning those pesky griefers  hmmmmm......

Thank you so much for the input everybody you people are great!    I'm very grateful to have friends willing to post their thoughts about me.
I'll leave this topic up for a few more hours and see if the trend changes....
